Karen and I would like to welcome you to our new site. We pray it will be a blessing to you in your walk with Jesus. We will be continually adding to this site so come back again and again. Our desire is that you become more and more aware of the presence of the Lord in your life; that your relationship with Jesus will become a greater and greater reality in your everyday life. I know that is what we want for ourselves and that is what we want to impart to others. Jesus said. "You search the scriptures, for in them you think you have eternal life; and these are they which testify of Me. But you are not willing to come to Me that you may have life." (Jn.5:39-40) We don't minimize the need to know the scriptures for Jesus also said, "He who believes in Me, as the Scripture has said, out of his heart will flow rivers of living water." (Jn.7:38) We need to know the scriptures but more than that we need to know the One who the scriptures declare. All of our theology won't help us one bit if that is all we have. What we learn in the scriptures must bring us into a living relationship with Jesus. You can know all the deep truths of the Bible but if you never come into a relationship with Jesus you have absolutely nothing. We are no better off than the scribes and Pharisees of Jesus' day if all we can do is quote scripture and put on a religious front. Jesus didn't come to make us religious, but He came to give us life. "I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly." (Jn.10:10) Life comes from relationship and not just reading books. The scriptures are meant to open to us the person of Jesus Christ that we might begin to fellowship with Him in those areas. We are changed from glory to glory. (2Cor.3:18) As we behold Him in all the aspects of His person we begin to be changed into that same image. It is as we are changed we can behold Him in greater realms of glory, until we come into His fullness. God wants us to fellowship with Him on His level. This is the heart and purpose of this web site; to bring a greater revelation of Jesus, to open our eyes to the fullness of the Son. As we grow in Him we will be able to behold even more of His glory and walk in that glory until it is declared of us, "Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband ... having the glory of God." (Rev.21:2, 11)
In His Love,
Ricky & Karen
